I want to set a specific ringtone for my incoming calls & a completely different one for my text messages on my Blackberry 8703e. I know how to set a ringtone for my ringer, but my text messages come in as a low beep. what is a “profile” or “notification profile”? where can I download free blackberry 8703e ringtones?

how set a ringtone for blackberry 8703e incoming text: Go to your Profiles (speaker icon)> click the trackball>scroll to Advanced> click trackball> scroll to the profile you want to update (I always use Normal)> press Menu button (it has the little dots on it)> scroll to Edit and click trackball.
Scroll to SMS Text> click trackball. You can then choose between Out of Holster and In Holster. Scroll to Tune> click trackball.

You will have your list of ringtones or you can click on Browse to use a song in your blackberry 8703e phone.
