BlackBerry Curve 8310 software for windows vista laptop? how to fix BlackBerry Curve software(version 4.2.2.170)problem on laptop windows vista? I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310 and am trying to set up the desktop manager on my laptop with Vista but I can’t seem to get it work. The software installs just fine from the AT&T website but I can’t find it anywhere, so I reinstalled it and clicked on the go to applications button but it can’t even find my blackberry even though it’s plugged in. My Blackberry version is 4.2.2.170, Is there a problem with windows Vista or how to fix it or is BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.312 the wrong program?

I have the T-mobile Blackberry Curve 8310. I downloaded desktop software from Blackberry’s website onto my Vista laptop and didn’t have any problems with it. Try it and see if you don’t get better results.
