BlackBerry Pearl gel cases protect the front not hte back and sides?

Does BlackBerry Pearl gel cases protect the front not hte back and sides?  My friend got a Blackberry Pearl. He wants the protective gel cases they sell online for it, they come in a pack of 3 multi-color. Anyway, looking at the BlackBerry Pearl gel cases online, it looks like it protects the back & sides, but not the front screen at all. Does anyone have these cases and does it protect the front? Do you know any other cases that would protect the whole BlackBerry Pearl 8100 phone?

BlackBerry Pearl gel case does not protect the blackberry pearl phone. I got it today actually. It only looks cool. The one I have does not have a clip if you wanted to clip it to your hip. I am going to stick to the case. If you really do want it though you can go amazon or other online shop, they usually sell many BlackBerry Pearl cases accesories .
