Unfortunately, you cannot remove the clip from the holster. blackberry would not be protected at all times, you dont want to lose it and let someone get your pin contacts right. you will break it in the process so you will not be able to re-mount it. There is a solution though. I know that some people prefer to have their BlackBerry in a case, but with no belt clip, like yourself. you can buy some blackberry case and hoslters to protect it.

Yes, it can be done. It just can’t be undone. A screwdriver or other prying tool can pop the entire clip off, breaking the mounting post in the process. I did this, and then used a grinder to remove the part of the post that was still attached to the holster. this cut about 40% off of the thickness of the holstered BB, which makes it much easier to carry in a pocket.
