how to delete iphone 3g songs. how can I delete songs on my iphone 3G with itunes and can I edit name of songs on iphone? i purchased songs in itunes that i dont like anymore and want to delete from my iphone..also when i play songs it usually plays the playlist automatically, now it just repeats the same song over and over.
If you dont want to remove songs from your iphone 3G, simply in the summary of your iphone in itunes, click the check box that states you only want checked items to be synced. Then go into your music in itunes and uncheck the boxes that you dont want. When you play songs play them straight from the songs list in the iphone, it should not just start playing a playlist when not told to. If that is the case, delete the playlist and start over. to rename songs: in the itunes library, right-click the file name and hit “rename”.

To delete songs from an IPHONE under summary select maunually manage music, uncheck the song you want to delete (just before the song name), then you can highlight the song (left button) use the delete button on the keyboard.
