Does Iphone charge when off?
If i turn off the phone and have it off does it charge?
if iphone is in the charger and off then yes. If it is not in a charger and off then no the battery doesn’t go down though. It should if it works like most normal handheld devices. But since I do not actually own one, you may want to call Apple technical support just to make sure.

mmm well, mine charges very but VERY slow when it is off, it would take an entire day, and I`m very sure about that.
Mine doesn’t charge when it is off and it’s a 3g. Don’t think any of them do. If it is off and then you start charging it, it just turns back on for some strange reason.
then u power down to keep it off AND charging.
