How to access secured wireless networks on an iphone 3G or IPOD touch. if you have jailbroken iphone or ipod touch, you would like to access internet. you have to know the password in order to access a secured access point. This is true for any wireless device and not just the ipod or iphone and jailbreaking has no bearing on this.

If you have access from another system on the network, you should be able to get the WEP, WAP etc code from that machine. simply try to join the wireless network on the iphone and you will be prompted for a password. this would be the code that you got from the other machine on the wireless network.

the iphone doesn’t care what the format of the encrytion key..it just calls them all passwords.
