How to download palm treo software for a Palm treo 750 PDA using Windows Vista Home Premium
How do I download palm treo software for a Palm PDA using Windows Vista Home Premium? Just got a new Palm treo 750, do I just download Palm software on to my PC running Windows Vista and then upload it to the PDA with the USB cable - or is it not as simple as that?
The Palm Hotsync software should be running fine on vista. go here http://www.palm.com/us/support/
select your palm treo device then vista and install the Palm Desktop software.
you’d only need to double click on palm .prc to install (on next sync)

R U Nuts. Palm treo 750 is a windows mobile device not palm OS. Palm HotSync will NOT work. Use Windows Mobile Device Manager and the Active Sync software on the treo.. Sync on connect and they will see each other. Files can be sent by drag and drop or over the USB, Bluetooth, IR or chip reader. I often do not even use Windows Mobile Device Manager, plug in the USB and the computer will see the device much as an MP3 device, use drag and drop from folder to folder.
