How to get iphone music tones for iphone 3G. if you want to get iphone music tones for your iphone 3g, you have three options.
1) Buy music tones from itunes music store but you’ll have to choose a part of the song you like and it’ll cost about 0.99$ .

the way to get iphone music tones with itunes:
1. You can use a song you have from itunes.
2. right click the song click get info go to options tab
3. check the box start time and then you can customize what part of the song you want with the start/stop. (the ringtone can only be thirty seconds long not any longer!)
4. check the stop time
5. click ok
6. right click the song and choose convert selection to acc. then drag it to the ringtones tag on the left side of itunes.
8. update your iphone go to settings, sounds, ringtones and under custom click the song you just made. thats it!

2) If you have access to a newer Mac (with ilife 08 on it) you can make ringtones in Garageband, for free. and if your running a mac. you can open up garage band has to be 7 or 8 dont remember if its 7 minimum or 8, create a podcast. drag song.. then cut out your 30 seconds to be a ringtone.. and then send to itunes as a ringtone.
