How to setup internet connection on blackberry 8830, just got the blackberry phone, I want to surf websites on my blackberry 8830, where is a way to setup internet connection on blackberry 8830

Your blackberry 8830 need to have data of course, then shut your phone off and back on. Look in the top corner, what is the word there? If its edge but lowercase do the following:

Go to media net and select Blackberry start. Accept user agreement and enter a few email addresses in. End user agreement. Hit the apps button (dots) scrolling to Go to… Then enter a website to see if it works. Then go to your apps menu and find the blue globe named browser. Your edge should now be EDGE. then you can surf website with blackberry 8830
