How to transfer itunes movies onto BlackBerry Storm 9530 with pc
How to transfer itunes movies onto BlackBerry Storm 9530 with pc. maybe you will like to transfer movies to BlackBerry Storm, so you can watch it easily. here is the way I use to transfer BlackBerry Storm movies.
you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software that comes with the BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone. If you dont have it you can download it from BlackBerry website.then you can choose Media Sync to Sync with your iTune Library.
or you can transfer itunes movies to BlackBerry Storm with putting in a memory card, format the card (options — media card - menu - format card), then hook it up to the computer and transfer the file in question to the memory card using Blackberry Desktop Manager’s media feature.

Thanks for the information, I was having some problems in transferring the movies to my phone. Now I am clear how to do it.
This doesn’t work. iTunes movies are on MPV format, meaning they’re DRM copyright protected files and can’t play on BB Storm.
I agree with Dave, after spending 90 minutes with Verizon Wireless tech support they were unable to help me and transferred me to Blackberry tech support who flat out told me that I could not transfer a movie from I Tunes to my Storm because it was MPV. I had downloaded a digital copy of the Hulk to my PC via I Tunes and was unable to move it into my storm.
Much easier way to do this… When you hook your blackberry to your computer, it creates 2 drives on your my computer folder. One called blackberry, and the other called removeable disk. Go into removeable disk / blackberry / videos. All you have to do to any of your videos is rename them to a *.mov file, and transfer it into that folder. Tada, you have videos.. You can do this with any other media file too.
Will simply not work!
Am I absolutely the only one here who has content that HASN’T been purchased from iTunes and therefore lacks any sort of DRM? There’s plenty of applications out there that make it easy to convert DVD’s to mp4 or avi files. These files can then, in turn, be transferred to any media device one wants - including, presumably, the Blackberry Storm.
Hiya,
:(
Yep i agree with you all, currently impossible to transfer i-tunes movies onto the storm due to copyright protection. I’ve tried to be cute and use a wealth of codec programs for conversion, but still with no luck. The chap in the shop at Vodafone said it could play movies which was nonsense unless they are being ripped from a CD - but i want new releases. I love the Blackberry for e-mail and internet browsing capabilities and the screens better resolution and quality than the i-phone, but wish i’s bought the i-phone for movies!
If there is drm protection on the music, you have to remove drm first, either by cd buning and ripping or use some 3rd party software.
If not drm protected, you can just google some free converters to convert the format easily.I use daniusoft video converter to convert my music, it is a good tool, howerver, not freeware.
I used Turnebite Platinum (the one for $39.99) and yes, I was that stupid to pay for it. It WILL stirp the DRM protection. It came out in a wmv FILE BEAUTIFILLY but I can not for the life of me get it to transfer to my BBStorm. Any help would be welcome. And the stupid part of my brain is saying why the heck bother, the film I want is on my iPOD, and I never travel without them (yes them as in plural) but at this point it more a CRUCH to my skill set that I cann not figure this out.
You people that post all your non-related subject crap are annoying. If you don’t know how to transfer or remove the DRM from iTunes movies and move them to your Storm, don’t reply. Everyone above appears to chime in with everything NOT having to do with the question.
So to actually answer the question, no - it’s a protected mpeg-4 video stream using DRM.
It all depends where you download the movie and what format you convert it to. If you downloaded a movie straight from iTunes it will be locked (never buy a movie from itunes, it’s a waist of money). You can get software that converts any movie to what ever type of mp3 you want.
