How to use OpenSSH on jailbreak iPhone
you can use OpenSSH to connect Jailbreak iPhone with pc via wifi and transfer files. OpenSSH is just a method to connect to jailbreak iphone. Before installing OpenSSH via iPhone Installer, you should have install BSD Subsystem on your jailbreak iphone. then go to Installer on your iphone and download OpenSSH > go into Settings > WiFi > Tap the “>” next to the WiFi you are connected to > Note down the IP Address.
after setting up wifi on iphone, go to your pc, download and install WinSCP. Open WinSCP : For “Host Name” Enter your iPhone’s IP Address that you noted from above. For “User Name” Enter “root”. For “Password” Enter “alpine”. For “File Protocol” Select “SCP”. then Click “Login”. then it will take some times to connect for the first time.
“alpine” is the default OpenSSH password for iphone. you can log into the account and change iphone OpenSSH password, through SSH or local terminal, and type ‘passwd’ without the quotes. It’s a standard UNIX command. The password for openSSH just allows you to see the iPhone file system. It’s just a security measure since you are connecting over WiFi. then you can use OpenSSH to transfer files from your pc to iphone via WIFI.
