How to watch YouTube Videos on BlackBerry Bold 9000. when I want to load youtube videos on my BlackBerry Bold, I have some problems like “An error has occurred attempting to play media” . after consulting with service provider, I find that sometimes due to software problem. then I find a good way to view youtube videos in brower. you can watch youtube directly with http://m.youtube.com . you can change settings on phone to automatically launch media player. If you are in Wi-fi browsing mode, it works. If you are on 3G, an option kicks in that may prevent Youtube from working. Under Browser Options, select “General Properties”. An option called: “Switching to WAP for streaming media ” may be on. Un-check it and try. This works for all browser modes. then you can watch YouTube Videos with your BlackBerry Bold 9000.

It won’t work unless using wifi. That option rerred to is only the disabling/enabling of
the prompt to make the switch to wap. The phone switches to wap anyway.

Thanks for the post - but there is another way, just copy the whole video link to the WAP browser, it will then opens the page with another link, click on it and it will automatically opens up media player and plays the video.
hi,im having problems loading youtube videos on my blackberry bold 9000, i just got it unlocked and now when ever i try to open youtube videos,the media player loads it for 2 mins,but suddenly it prompts ‘NETWORK EROR,CONNECTION DISCONNECTED’ i wanted help regarding this matter
