iphone 3G bluetooth setup? How to set up bluetooth with my iPhone 3g? I try to pair my iPhone 3G with hp computer windows vista by using bluetooth. I also want to pair it with Motorola Razr phone. I read the manual but it only talks about the headset. How do I pair this Iphone with a Dell computer and Motorola Razr? Is it possible?
pair hp laptop with the Motorola Razr it is possible, but not with the iPhone 3g. It is set up specifically just for a headset, they restricted everything else. With the Motorola Razr, I’m not totally sure, but usually as long as the computer has bluetooth you can. On the phone you have to go to Settings->Connection->Bluetooth->Setup. One of the options says Bluetooth(on or off), make sure it is on, and the other says ‘Find me’. Now on your computer open your bluetooth options and look for a new device. while it’s looking hit ‘Find me’ on the phone and it will stay on for 60sec. everytime you wanna connect with bluetooth with the Razr you have to do that! But will the iPhone DO ANYTHING once it’s paired? My iPhone pairs with the computer but it doesn’t add any functionality. I was hoping that it would show up in iTunes. It also pairs fine with my headset, and works great there.
