iphone 3g word processor or application download? where can I download iphone 3g word processor or application? I was wondering which is better iphone word processor application you have used?

As I know, ther is no good actual word processor for iphone 3g. the iPhone and iPod Touch are still lacking in what I would consider Core PDA functions ,like how you can’t copy and paste.

I’ve seen some word programs for iphone 3g such as ReaddleDocs which cost 15$ designed to allow you to view/open word, excel, pdf and power point documents. you can get them onto the iPhone but required uploading them to their server and it couldn’t edit or anything like that. another is “iOffice2u” . it is a simple iphone 3g text file reader apps. you can upload any .txt file or .zip file to the iOffice2u iReader app. After you upload the file from your PC or Mac you can the use your iPhone or iPod touch to read the file. To use the app, you need to create a new account which only requires a user name and a password. and the third is is “Mobile Web Docs” , it let you type notes on the iPhone in Landscape Mode. Save notes in folders and view them on a “Web-Desktop”.

othe word processor on jailbroken iPhone that enabled some limited copy/paste. you opened the copyier program and what it does is you pick the first app, dig thru its files and try to copy portions of saved text, then you pick a destination app and modify a file on that side to pasting over.

Basically theres a lot to be desired for actual office productivity on the iPhone 3g even as third party application, and some of the few spreadsheet applications that exist for money crash half the time.

Perhaps if and when Apple releases a 3.0 firmware for either device they’ll incorporate more PDA-like functionality:)
