I want to buy an iphone, but i have tomobile, and my whole family is tmobile and i really like tmobile the best, but i really want iphone, and how do i get iphone for tmobile and not switch to cingular- can i use my sim card from my current phone? or will it be to tmobile in a few months or so? or can i get it unlocked?

Yes, only cingular current or new customers can get iphone. They are not going to sell the iphone by itself because it’s going to be exclusive for cingular. Maybe in 2 years they will start selling it to t-mobile. And apple is not going to sell the iphone by itself. Maybe after a year, it’s going to be on prepaid. I heard cingular might have the iphone for prepaid after months it’s released

The iPhone is ONLY available for Cingular. There is NOTHING that will make it work on T-Mobile. T-Mobile has the Sidekick thats exclusive to them, now Cingular has the iPhone. The iPhone will never be at another phone company.

This is a rumor and you know how rumors can be. It is going around that they are going to give around a$75-$150 discount for new people that sign a 2 year contract, so that could help pay the fee you have to pay to cancel your current contract. But this is what I would do. Wait for a couple of shipments to pass and you might see the iphone come down in price(that is what lot of people are saying on the internet). You might even see a price drop before the iphone comes out, people are also saying this is going to be just like the newton that apple cam out with a long time ago because of the price. So we will see what happens when it comes out there is so many rumors it is funny.
