iphone music format compatibility
how about iphone music format compatibility? I have downloaded mp3 music on my computer for my iphone. but when I go to put it in itunes it says it is not compatible. Is there a way that I can make it compatible? It is mp3 format.
iphone is compatible with mp4 and mp3 music format. If it says it’s an MP3 file then you should be able to simply drag and drop it into iTunes. If you’re using Windows, maybe you need to be sure that the .mp3 is to the right of the name like it should be. import all your mp3s into iTunes. one by one, or open them all with iTunes. then sync them all or only small play lists to the iPhone.
if you get music from cd, maybe there’s no artwork shown on the screen for the albums. usually when y ou write the CD’s, they dont write the artwork or album covers on it, its just plain music. for example if you rip music from a CD, the tracks get numbered not named, meaning that theres no data on the CD other than just the music files. If you want artwork, you could look it up online.
