Can I play my iPhone 3G music through my car speakers via bluetooth? I connect my iPhone 3G to bluetooth stereo to play through the car speakers, but everytime I try and play the song, it will come out through the phone speakers. Is there a way to do this? It works with an AUX cord, but I don’t want a cord running along my dash.

As I know iPhone 3G unfortunately will not produce quality music through Bluetooth because even though it has a bluetooth chip, it is NOT “Stereo Bluetooth”. It was probably a big mistake on apple’s part but you could however find a Griffin iPhone Car Dock that transmits over FM (which I would highly recommend). This way you can listen to Pandora Internet Radio or any other app you have running. The iPhone does not support streaming music over Bluetooth without multiple 3rd party adapters running in your car simultaneously.

  1. I have a 2007 Lexus 400h with blue tooth, and I just bought a iPhone 3GS 16 gig phone.
Is it possible to play music through my car’s stereo system using blue tooth?
