play iPhone through car stereo? Will I be able to connect an iPhone to a car stereo in order to play songs from iphone?
I know there are car stereos that can connect through an iPod, however, I dont know if I’ll be able to do that with an iPhone.I Does anybody have info?
you can play iphone through car stereo , with a headphone adapter, you’ll be able to connect it to your stereo with no problems. on market, there are belkin iphone headphone adpater,

I have tried two friends iPod to car stereo adapters with my iPhone, and neither works - all I got was a high pitched noise. Has anyone found one that works?
Not found any adaptors that work as yet, as Apple have blocks that manufacturers have yet to overcome - even Griffin are having problems.
I’ve just been into Halfords though, to try out their ipod-ready stereo’s and found that the latest Alpine model (iDA-X300HAL), £149.99, works with full song/album selction/shuffle etc. with my iphone.
I was also told that with the additional Bluetooth interface (KCE 300BT), £149.99, you can use the iphone through the stereo with contacts list viewable through read-out panel to make and accept calls as the X300 unit has a built-in mic.
Best prices for these two I found through Sextons http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk - £104.90 for the unit and £74.99 for the Bluetooth interface.

I also have been looking for something to play the iphone in car.Just found this website with a review for a system that can also be used as a hands free. I have an iphone that is playing through my car stereo just a normal sound cable that come standard with computers and a adapter from carphone warehouse to fit it into the iphone.
Ripspeed stereo, however it also plays dvds and i’m wondering if anyone knows how to play vids from my iphone onto the display screen on the stereo.
