I love my iphone…but not the idea that I cant have my own ringtone or that it freezes on me for any reason…

I used to love my iPhone, but i should have known everything it doesn’t have before i purchased it! Whatever you buy, DO NOT GO FOR THE IPHONE. That phone has gained too much hype that it doesn’t deserve. - No Video Conferencing (whatever) - Can’t Send Pictures (MMS-that’s bullcrap) - No Push mail (forget syncing to exchange servers) - No Voice Command (ON A “High TECH” $700 phone) - Can’t use Skype on Iphone for VOIP (BULL) - No Flash (half the websites won’t work) - No Java (another 1/4 won’t work b/c of this) - No SDK (web 2.0 is not an SDK-whatever) - No send via Bluetooth (COMPLETE BS) - No 3rd party apps. (200% BS) - Lacks an external memory storage slot (ENOUGH BS ALREADY) - Cannot use your iTune songs as ringtones! (OKAY, NOW I’M ABOUT TO SUE APPLE) - NO VOICE DIALING - NO 3G Internet access (WHAT’S THE POINT) - No Word/Excel Support (understandable) - cannot be used as a modem (No internet on your pc) - doesn’t support 3′rd party apps (Steve Jobs announced that this will not be allowed due to the threat to the reliability to the phone’s operating system) - Cannot be synced to Microsoft Outlook - No Physical buttons or keyboard - 8gb storage cannot be used as storage for files-just iTunes songs which cannot be used as ringtones If you still end up buying the iPhone, you’d be a perfect definition of the term: ‘American’. Seriously-NOT WORTH IT. Buy yourself a nice laptop instead! You can probably buy it for $300 by next year when a newer version comes out!

I love mine too. You actually can get your own ringtones though, you have to hack it. If you’re up for it, search up on google “iphone hack ringtones”. I’ve never had mine freeze on me though, that’s strange.

everyone i know that has one loves it… i’m going to wait until apple releases ringtones that will be deliverable through iTunes, instead of attempting to “hack” my phone… can you remember exactly what you did before your phone started to freeze up… usually it’s caused by a song, video, text entry, calendar event that is not sitting too well with the OS… just delete the last change you made before the phone started going wacky… if you can’t figure it out… reset your phone and start loading stuff back in slowly… until you find the offending item… good luck…
